"cardiac rehab"

I attended a 4 week cardiac rehab course run by the Cardiovascular Exercise Specialist and the nurse specialist. It was superbly run. The exercise programme boosted my fitness immediately, and they taught me how to manage my own exercises. There were also very helpful weekly talks on medication, diet, emotional reactions to the illness, etc. The course leaders also created a relaxed and welcoming environment, and everyone who took part seemed to be very appreciative. When the four weeks came to an end, I felt fitter, healthier, and more confident about managing my condition.
