Debbie has been my caseworker at Inclusion now since the beginning of March 2019. She has been incredibly important and influential in getting me to where I am today. I am a completely changed person, positive with my life, able to see the plus in any situation and able to turn any negative issues or thoughts into positive ones, thanks to her. I have now been 'clean' off my addictive usage for over 9 months and through Debbie's help, understanding and pro-activeness have retrained my thought process so much that I know, (together with Debbie and all the other caseworkers, counsellors and course leaders) that there will never be any going back to the way I was.
Debbie has shown on numerous occasions that she is honest, considerate, approachable and very adaptable. She has been willing to see me at short notice, when required, fitting me in around her busy daily schedule.
Through Debbie's guidance and mentoring she put me forward for external and internal courses,'intuitive thinking' and the newly run 'Core Relapse Prevention' course which lasted 10 weeks and a total of 20 sessions. Both courses resulted in me receiving certificates equivalent to that of an NVQ and something to add to my CV.
All part of my rehabilitation progress/success.
Debbie is a great Judge of Character and we work very well at our regular 1 2 1 sessions, always treated as an equal with positive thoughtful idea, areas I could work on. Debbie has also been very influential in helping suggest different ideas for me to look into, with regard to gaining employment, always keen to understand the nature of any role applied for and always having my wellbeing and mental health as her main priorities, always wanting to ensure I was not moving into any role that could prove stressful and potentially trigger negative thoughts leading to any undoing and/or lapse on my behalf.
I enjoy working with Debbie and have nothing but thanks and gratitude for her in helping me to where and who I am today.
