"Neglected and unsupported "

About: Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

My cousin Bobby needed help from these people at Prescott House and was crying out for help and didn't get it even though he was suicidal and desperately in need of help however it was left to his friends and family who heard his cry for help from social media to basically help him in his hour of need I feel sorry for people who are struggling with mental health issues and don't have any friends or family and what is more upsetting is that it is people working in mental health who should be recognizing the signs and symptoms of mental illness and responding and acting accordingly not us having to do their job for them complete and utter neglect things need to change drastically and when people are in need of help they should be helped and listened too things need to change in this place drastically and things need to be investigated into what is actually happening here I will be making an appointment with my local MP to air my grievances regarding my concerns regarding this place it's appalling. Maybe seeing the Doctors more often would be a common sense approach towards helping patients instead of barely seeing them just a suggestion which seems like common sense to me and Nurses need to show more compassion and patience and actually listen to the patient instead of watching on watch what time it is just a thought. Social workers here are great and can't do enough it seems to come from the actual medical people ie nurses and Doctors things have to change it's not on i don't want anyone going through what we as a family have had to go through..
