"Kindness, going the extra mile"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

(as the patient),

On Mondays evening as I left Lloyd’s pharmacy at the Treliske hospital I realised how far I had still to walk to the car. The pain from my injury was horrific and whilst walking down the corridor my mother in law and I approached a member of staff ‘Jon’ (sorry if I have your spelling wrong) a member of staff from the scan department.

He offered to wheel me to the car, I have never welcomed the help so much. Not only did he push me to the car but also assisted my mother In law who isn’t very mobile. It was drizzling with rain and he went above and beyond with his kindness and pushed me all the way to the car.

Thank you Jon, you are one very kind member of staff at Treliske.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that you have had a nasty injury and we do hope you are on the mend. I would like to say thank you, on behalf of the scanning department, for taking the time to feedback such lovely comments regarding our staff member, Jon. I will do my best to pass on your kind words, it's brilliant to hear that our staff go the extra mile.

Very Best Wishes

Glenda Shaw
