"Blood tests"

I had to have blood tests which are extremely distressing and painful due to my conditions. I was amazed by the nurse! First she was so lovely when I warned her about the way I may respond (crying and swearing). I am usually in agony and can feel every movement of the needle especially the changing of the vials and even taking it out. I felt the needle go in but only slightly and then nothing! I said how amazed I was and wondered why she had gone towards the side of my arm instead of right in the crease of my elbow and she said veins are better there which she’d discovered as a renal nurse in previous positions! She should retrain the others (who are lovely but cause me so much pain). Please tell her again how grateful I am.
