"I have to thank the whole team"

About: Holme Valley Memorial Hospital / Day surgery

I had a procedure at Holme Valley Memorial Hospital.

I want to thank all the wonderful team. I've never met who can make you feel so good, I feel like I've known them for years. They are so open, comforting and professional. Everything was amazing the whole way through, from pre-op to post-op. I want to thank them all, the nursing staff, the podiatrists, the support staff, its just a brilliant team, so caring and considerate.

I know we don't all like to go to hospital, its not something we look forward to, but I felt fully looked after. I had surgery to correct my 4th, 5th toes and I've been back for two post op appointments. Really such a good team from the receptionist to the nurses to the cleaners, I have to thank the whole team.

And the kindness they showed to my husband; making sure he was alright and getting him a coffee, asking after him - its the little things like this that bring it all together. There is not enough praise given for these people.

You are right, it is the little things that matter most to people and I am so pleased that we got the little things right as well as the big things too.
