"Very slow pace"

About: Broomfield Hospital

Taken my one year old to Broomfield A&E due to a pulled elbow. Only one person checking patients in. Once checked in, triaged in children's area. Asked to wait in the waiting area until paracetamol was brought over. Had to wait 10 / 15 min. Waited 2hrs to see doctor. Staff 'seemed' to sit around at the reception desk having a chat? Once seen by GP, seemed like a junior in training. Asked few questions and checked baby's elbow. Said it was not dislocated due to him being able to bend baby's arm/elbow, just baby in pain. We were advised to keep baby rested and give pain killers. We were discharged. Unfortunately, baby was still in pain and still could not freely move elbow. The next morning the elbow was still not moving freely and in pain when moved. I decided to go to GP for a second opinion. The GP checked the elbow and twisted the elbow back in place as he heard a click. This shows the A&E doctor did not examine nor treat properly. Please feel free to email me to discuss.
