"Receptionist's attitude didn't help"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Breast surgery

(as a service user),

Main outpatient department - breast surgery

The receptionist was extremely rude. I couldn't see their name but coming for a breast cancer screening was really stressful and this attitude didn't help.

Really poor.

I am sorry to hear that when you attended Main Outpatients you had an unpleasant experience.

Our focus is to always be respectful, kind and considerate to all patients. I am disappointment to hear that you felt this was not the case.

Staff regularly receive feedback and training, we are always looking at new ways to improve.

The comments have been taken on board and staff have been reminded of the need to be helpful and show compassion towards all visitors to the department.

I do hope if you return to Outpatients again there will be a noticeable difference.
