My Father was admitted to ward 44 following a visit to the ED.

The care he received from all the staff on ward 44 was exemplary. From the consultant, all the Doctors, staff nurses, healthcare assistants, domestics and support staff - every single person was so kind and caring. We would particularly like to mention two members of staff, who spent a lot of time addressing our concerns. Ultimately our Dad was too poorly and sadly passed away a few days ago but this difficult time was made so much easier because of the care and support of all the staff on ward 44. They were truly wonderful and we can never thank them enough.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a lovely post regarding the care given to your dad. I would like to offer you and your family my sincere condolences on the loss of your dad.

I am delighted and reassured that you found all of our staff to be "kind" and "caring" as this is the standard of care that we strive to deliver everyday.

It is heartening to also hear how staff provided you and your family with the support you needed at what must have been a very difficult time for you all.
