About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I spent 3 nights in Day Surgery after an unexpected operation. From arriving at the department on Friday morning to be Checked in for my operation, to leaving around 3pm on the Monday the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, understanding and very professional. I cannot thank all staff involved in my care enough, they made my time spent in hospital a lot easier to deal with. A great big thank you to both theatre and day surgery staff, you have made this time for me a little easier

Firstly let me apologise for the delay in responding to your lovely posting. It must have been a very stressful if not scary time for you coming into hospital for an unexpected operation, I was delighted to hear the staff cared for you in such a professional and caring manner. We really are very lucky in NHS Forth Valley to have such wonderful staff. It must have been a great relief for you.

I have shared you feedback with the staff in day surgery and theaters who were so pleased to hear your lovely feedback, they pass on their very best wishes.

I hope you have made a full recovery.
