"Next best thing to home"

My Dad spent his last week at the hospice in September. He had initially wanted to stay at home, but the reality of it was that he was just too uncomfortable, so we knew this was the best thing for him. I was so worried about him going in, but he was so much more comfortable there than we could make him at home and the staff were all great. It meant that he kept his dignity for his last week with us and was safer than been at home. The beds were also bigger and more comfortable than the hospital beds you have in the house. As a visitor, you could stay there as long as you liked and there was also recliner chairs that you could put in the room if you wanted to stay by them all night. If you are looking here at reviews and worrying about your loved one then please know that it is a really nice place and the nurses are all compassionate and respectful at what is such a difficult time.
