"We can be just another file"

About: Hounslow IAPT

(as the patient),

First time I was brave enough to know and ask for help I was told there are other people who need attention more than me. Second time I was lucky to get CBT and it could have been the end of help had the further session worked out.

All the good experience 2nd time was undermined on my next visit.. Staff's word against mine was accepted respected which also ruined my progress in therapy.  Services can help as well as ruin a patient's progress as they themselves fail to identify problems with the service and I feel can have a lack of respect. We can be just another file.
