"Fed up of appointment delays - life on hold"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust / Neurology

(as a service user),

I can relate to other stories. I am tired of fighting for timely review appointments. The latest is my neurologist says back in August 'see you in 3 months time's (I. e. beginning November). I ring central appointments team who inform me I will not be offered an appt until Jan/Feb in new year. I have had to give up work, and have a young family relying on me. I am further away than ever from returning to work and depressed as my life has been turned upside down.   No, the Walton centre is by no means outstanding in my care or lack of.

Update posted by Utter letdown (a service user)

The standard reply cannot help me. Symptoms worsened, poor or non existent care from this hospital. I thought I was at fault but I have talked to other people who feel similarly let down by their care at this hospital. Never leave the house now. I feel a burden to my family and state.
