"Great experts poor support"

I was left 8 hours with a gaping facial wound. A nurse completely missed one of the two serious deep wounds when cleaning.

The maxillofacial surgeon and assistant were fantastic, but had to work with a broken bed, broken light, blunt instruments, and the wrong sized suture thread. They had to stich me having to use their mobile phone torch light. They had to go hunting around wards for better equipment.

I believe the outcome was adversely affected.
