After months of poor sleep due to pulsating tinnitus and using a useless nose spray for three months which had been prescribed by the GP surgery, I was referred to Hospital ENT.
Such a difference at the consultation, to begin with they actually listened. I was offered an appointment with the audiology dept which I accepted. Many ways to help cope with the problem of lack of sleep were suggested. I went home feeling hopeful for the first time since January of this year. I bought a tinnitus machine and now spend my time going to sleep listening to the sounds of rain. The machine has a small selection of sounds to choose from and is so easy to use, basically press a button. I am so relieved that I can now have sleep like I used before I caught the flu and this awful condition began. Thankyou.
