About: Borders General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I attended an Out Patient Appointment in the Colposcopy Clinic at the Borders General Hospital. Whilst I was apprehensive about this appointment, both the Consultant and her nursing team made me feel very relaxed and comfortable during the procedure. I felt reassured during the procedure and my dignity was maintained at all times with the minimum of fuss. 

As a clinician myself, you can become very stressed being on the "other side" but I found the whole visit, timely, to the point and very professional.

Our staff strive to ensure our patients are supported through their hospital visit.
