From the day my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer her care has been excellent. From diagnosis to surgery and immediate post operative care in ITU she cannot praise all the staff enough.
However in Ward 7 her care went downhill and she felt as if she was a complete burden on the staff, and just wanted to be discharged as she would feel safer at home.
I feel this experience let down an otherwise excellent care pathway .
