I came on the evening of 27th August. I came at the advice of 111 as I had some heart attack type symptoms. I checked in just before 10pm. I’m sitting here in the waiting area still to be called at a quarter to 6 in the morning approximately 8 hours later. I also have epilepsy which is not overly fond of zero sleep. When I enquired what was happening the staff were very nice but nothing happened.I don’t have the exact numbers but during the whole night I would estimate no more than 20 patients were processed. Nobody was drunk and causing trouble. They just didn’t have enough medical people. A cleaner wandered through though about every hour re-mopping the floor and replacing the empty black bin bags she had replaced an hour or so earlier. It was a shambles and nobody seemed to give a stuff.
