On 24/09/2019 I had an appointment at the Trauma Clinic for a second opinion on my right knee problem, having been told by another hospital there was nothing they could do mainly because of my medical history (stage4cancer) . I was seen by a delightful doctor unfortunately I do not know his name only he is a registrar he treated me with curtsey and kindness but what was most important he was prepared to help and he did and thanks to him I feel that I can go forward and that my walking is improved .The nursing staff were excellent and nothing seemed to much bother so many thanks for making my visit so easy. I must say I came with much trepidation after being knocked back before, my faith in Good Hope is now stronger than ever as my cancer treatment is here in the Sheldon Unit and I cannot praise the medical staff and nurses enough they are all brilliant.
