I gave a very positive review a couple of years ago but after our visit on Monday sadly I find myself doin
G the opposite. My 73 old husband fell approx 10 feet from a ladder - he has a serious heart condition which is under control. We waited 30 mins for an ambulance then a further 1.5 hours in triage - he was left sitting in a wheelchair bloody and in incredible pain (the intravenous paracetamol the ambulance gave him wore off quickly). Whilst I appreciate how busy they are in A&E I find their system incredulous - approx 20 people were seen before us, despite my complaints, and most of them certainly appeared non-urgent!
They seem to have no idea how to prioritise!! To add insult were seen by a member of staff who constantly referred to colleagues we did not at one point see a doctor!
"Disappointed"
