"No appointment"

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital

Turned up for an appointment to be told it had been cancelled 14 days prior and no one had the manners to notify me. The staff were extremely unhelpful and really couldn't be bothered they try to say my GP should have informed me that the appointment had been cancelled. Why would my GP know before me?

Complained to PALS but I don't hold out much hope in anything happening!

To add insult to injury I received a letter to day asking me to re book the cancelled appointment, no apologise for the waste of time or inconvience,

We are sorry to hear that your experience has been less than satisfactory with regards to your appointments. We would like to discuss this further with you if possible. Please call 0151 702 4328 and ask for Debbie Pink, Patient Access Manager or Jeanette Jones, Assistant Access Manager so we are able to investigate this further.
