I have kidney disease in a mild form.
I have to have frequent blood tests. The hospital now releases details of test results to patents.
My latest results showed a decline in function and I became very worried.
I contacted the dept and was most impressed when the senior consultant phoned me at home to explain what the tests actually meant and that we could go on holiday without any worry.
The fact that in a very busy dept a senior consultant had personally phone d a patient has really shown me that Addenbrookes staff are really dedicated and care.

"A kind considerate dept"
