"Partial knee replacement"

About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Was v apprehensive before surgery but everyone, from reception, anaethesist staff and doctors to ward staff have been kind, supportive and encouraging.

No one relishes surgery but the staff have done their best to make it as positive an experience as possible.

I was particularly impressed at their emphasis on avoiding problems, like pressure sores or infections, rather than having to respond after the fact.

Even the food wasn't bad - quite a wide range of choice, generous portions and some good plain and healthy cooking.

Given how little the nhs has to spend per capita on catering they do a good job.

Def recommend the ROH.
