About: Knoll Medical Practice

I have been on the same anti-depressant medication for several years now, which sees me having to make regular trips to the doctor to get more medication, which is hard sometimes when struggling with mental health issues as well as having some difficult personal events happening recently. There was a complication with the pharmacy regarding my repeat prescription, so I went to the newly re-located Knoll Medical Practice. Already feeling anxious and disheartened at not getting my medication, I could have really done with some good customer service with a positive, happy face and some reassurance from the receptionist. Instead i was met with the epitome of horridness.

A woman at the desk did not smile at me, did not say anything kind or anything in a kind tone, and was even judgmental, personally attacking me in and ridiculing my dealing of my medication, even-though the fault was not entirely mine. i walked away, without my medication and without a friendly face around, and i burst into tears. In a moment of strength I went back to the reception and told the horrible woman that she had made me very upset and reduced me to tears due to her own nastiness.

It is extremely unprofessional to be rude and indignant to customers in any industry, but when dealing with unwell people, which also includes those who struggle with invisible mental health struggles, this is really unacceptable. I have now since made a formal complaint, and have registered at a new GP surgery.
