"Fracture clinic not good"

About: Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

After being referred for an appointment from malvern Community hospital to the fracture clinic in Worcester to get blood removed from my leg and have a splint I wasn't happy when I arrived to find the clinic isn't exactly close to the main entrance which doesnt make sense, and the delay time was appalling, sat there for nearly 2 hours, painkillers had stopped working so was in pain. I then get called in, to wait for another 10 minutes before the doctor comes. Then he comes and tells me to take my trousers of so he can see the injury. He leaves with no curtain up and no sheet over me. I am just there on the bed with my trousers off. Then comes back in and is way to rough with me. Than was needed. No blood was removed but thankfully the splint was provided by the nurse which was lovely. I then go back home in much worse pain than I was when I went. And did my research to find that if the blood in your knee isn't removed, something in your body does that but then also destroys the cartilage. So all In all I could end up in a much worcer state than I was. I even get asked when I am there by the doctor what I did and when I reply and also said there was blood he looks shocked like he hadnt even read the files that were sent. Very disappointed and must say actually quite scared about going back. I have gotta prepare to be in alot of pain when I get back from the next appointment. The nurses however were lovely.
