"More than 6 hours and still ongoing"

About: Wexham Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

I am still waiting in hospital for the last more than 6 hours and not seen by doctor yet.

Came in A&E with my 8 weeks old baby who was having breathing problem , cough, flu and nose blocked. Waited in A&E for more than é hours when nurse took us to children ward to be seen by doctor but another 3 hours here and not seen by doctor yet.

Extremely dissatisfied.

Dear Zaman

I am so sorry you have had a long wait, I have just rung the matron for paediatrics and asked them to attend, they have attended the childrens ward and there is no 8 week old waiting to be seen, there is a 2 and a half hour wait in ED for children to be seen so we are very sorry we are not able to locate you. Please could you email me on fhft.patientexperience@nhs.net with more details and I will try and get you seen if you are still at Wexham?
