"Annual review with nurse"

I accompanied my husband Roger on Monday 16th Sept for his annual review.

He was seen by a male nurse, who was extremely efficient, kind, caring and thorough.

My husband has mixed dementia and the nurse was sensitive to this during the review looking to me for input when required but without ignoring my husband.

He explained clearly what he was doing, including the blood tests, when the results would be back and the procedure which would follow.

Most of this my husband had forgotten by the time we left the surgery but at least I have the information which is so important.

I was impressed by the professional manner in which he conducted himself while being friendly, putting my husband at ease.
