"Given me confidence to make changes"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Fracture Liaison service

(as a service user),

I was referred to this service following a DEXA scan and given the diagnosis of osteoporosis. ( Fracture of humorous   March ‘19 ) As I am living with CKD and making a slow but good recovery I was reluctant to have more medicines. The letter and leaflets sent by the Fracture Liaison Service were helpful even before attending the information session, This has given me confidence to make changes to diet and encouragement to restart regular exercise with Active Forth.   Great service and good to know that they can be contacted for further advice if needed.   Thank you.
