"Minor Op"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Skin Team

(as a service user),

I was very nervous going into this procedure as I had never been in hospital before.   Kirsty and Lauriann immediately put me at ease as soon as I was in their company.   They took the time to introduce themselves and fully explain what was about to happen.   Whilst Kirsty carried out the minor op, Lauriann spoke to me constantly taking my mind off what was actually happening.

I cannot thank these girls for making what I thought was going to be a horrific experience actually pain free and as pleasant as it can be under the circumstances.

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback, I have shared this with our team.

It is natural to feel anxious when coming into hospital for a procedure, I am pleased to hear you were made to feel at ease. I am so pleased that it was much better than you expected.

I hope your wound is healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty
