"Amazing Service for a Kiwi Visitor"

Kia ora,

Since I have returned to New Zealand and have had time to reflect on the past few weeks, I wish to thank you all for your health services received through your excellent ENT Unit – Nye Bevan Unit and Florence Nightingale Ward.

As an overseas visitor to the city of London, it is bewildering to see the size and scale of a large city, let alone find yourself unwell there. I was quickly referred to the East Croydon Medical Centre though, and through their care and attention was referred to ENT St Georges.

I am greatly appreciative of the prompt and decisive actions taken there for a painful ear infection, which was driving me nuts!

Many thanks to staff at Nye Bevan Unit for ear vacuums, progress reports and lunch snacks.

Many thanks to Florence Nightingale Ward staff for ward care, medication administration, catering, cheerful chat and great humour.

Many thanks to Specialist(s) docs who were involved in decisions to rid myself of the ear lurgy.

In taking your advice to see NZ doctors on arrival home, I have now been cleared of above stated lurgy, and restored to near full functionality in the selective hearing department.

I am now a major fan of the British NHS, and broadcast your greatness to all I meet on this side of the globe.
