"Expectations exceeded"

Today I visited the hospital for a routine anomaly scan as I have reached the half way point in my pregnancy. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and efficient, but I would like to especially sing the praises of our sonographer. She made my partner and I feel at ease and was so friendly and approachable to speak to, whilst being professional and informative. We mentioned to her how excited our six year old was to finally be becoming a big sister - and upon receiving our scan pictures- she had included a special message just for her. It made our daughter feel so included as she cannot attend the scans - it was so lovely to receive such a personal touch from such busy staff. My experience today has further enforced my trust in a wonderful maternity team.
