"Built my confidence up"

About: New Woods Children's Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I attended the Opening Doors to Confidence course in May 2019 at New Woods Children's Centre.   The course has built my confidence up a lot and I am now more confident about speaking to people face to face and on the phone.   During the course I bought the "Chimp Paradox" books which were referred to in the course and I've found these really helpful and use them for myself and with my teenage daughter.

Thanks so much for posting

Thats great feedback and the "chimp paradox" is such a great book and helps me rationalise things and helps put's them into perspective - particularly useful at 3am when you wake up in a panic ha ha.


Children's centres are a fantastic service to have on your doorstep and more support is availble to continue with your journey should you need us
