"Minor injuries unit is excellent"

About: Bideford Hospital

I took my 5 year old grandson to the MIU because he had fallen and banged his head on a radiator resulting in a large swelling . He doesn’t like doctors so it was difficult to get him treated but the 2 ladies who treated him were very patient with him . So much so that he remarked on leaving “if I ever get ill again I want come here and I want those ladies to help me”

Thank you so much

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and I am sorry to learn of your young grandson’s accident and his attendance at the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Bideford Hospital.

I am glad he felt safe and cared for by the two nurses who treated him and that he would not be scared in the future if he unfortunately has another accident, although I sincerely hope this is not the case.

I have shared your kind comments with the Manager of the MIU where they will be gratefully received and shared with staff.

Kind regards

Jill
