My husband has now been waiting nearly a year to have this operation, we have had to put everything on hold, as can’t go on holiday abroad as he is in so much pain, still working, but living on maximum dose pain killers to get through the day!! I know the nhs are not doing so many operations but we can’t afford to pay private, it’s really worrying
