I required a hysteroscopy which was booked at Lincoln County Hospital in September 2019. The staff were kind and did their best to make an unpleasant procedure as bearable as possible. I was allowed to hold the hand of the nurses whilst the doctor did the necessary but painful work. Their manners were quiet and sympathetic which I greatly appreciated. They explained what would be happening clearly and calmly. After the procedure I was provided with a cup of tea and biscuit whilst I recovered in the waiting room. This was also very welcome as I was in some pain and had intended to find the cafe to relax with a cup of tea. Having a little comfort and comparative privacy was good. Having rested for around half an hour I felt restored enough to drive home.

The whole Gynaecology Outpatients Team are passionate about providing the best patient experience that they can, and receiving feedback such as this is really encouraging and appreciated by every one of them.
