Permanent brain damage, huge life changes and having to deal with problems when accepting my health now is and has been hard enough.
I had viral encephalitis and was in hospital for almost a month. I was treated with patience and understanding. I was discharged earlier because my father had passed away and his funeral was the day after I was discharged.
I didn't know about my father until 4 days before his funeral. I was then near bed bound for 3 months whilst my husband was breaking me financially.
I was so lost and couldn't live. I was so lost. I didn't remember things or language. It's too much to explain on here but it has been such a journey.
"It has been such a journey"
