"Accident and Emergency"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

Visited A&E on Friday evening. Despite it being very busy, the staff were calm, courteous and efficient. From check in, to assessment, to x-ray to a small procedure to remove some embedded glass, I was in and out within 3 hours. I was spoken to with respect and was given the choice between a local anaesthetic via needle or gas and air. The nurse practitioners were friendly and made jokes to distract me from the procedure.
