"A very happy two weeks stay"

About: Kettering General Hospital / General surgery

Admitted onto Deene A Ward with appendicitis in March 2019 I was looked after very well by the ward staff and surgeons. Everyone was kind and helpful. Two days after my operation I was moved to Geddington Ward and felt concerned having got used to Deene A but I needn't have worried as I couldn't have received better care anywhere considering the problem that the antibiotics caused me. The nursing staff were so kind and understanding, also the doctors. I know the doctors weren't sure if I should go home when I did and I would have been happy to stay longer than the two weeks but I was desparate to go home just so that I could wash my hair.

Thank you very much for your kind words regarding your stay on Deene A and Geddington wards.

We are delighted your admission was a positive experience.

I will ensure that your comments are passed on to all the staff.

It really gives the staff a boost to hear kind words about the care they have delivered.
