"Fantastic friendly staff"

About: West Cumberland Hospital

I showed up this afternoon 15 minutes before my MRI appointment on my spine. I went to the desk within the department, handed my letter over only to find out I made the huge mistake of coming to the wrong hospital and in fact I should of attended the Carlisle hospital an hour away. As it was completely my fault I expected them to turn me away and make another appointment. The lady behind the desk was so helpful and rang the MRI department to check if they had space for me that day at WCH. She told me to wait while they shuffled a few people around but I was expecting to be there for most of the day as it was my mistake. Within 45 mins a very friendly man came got me from the waiting room and within about an hour I was in and out of the scanner. I couldn’t believe it. They were all so nice friendly and made me feel slightly less of an idiot for going to the wrong hospital. Couldn’t of asked for more. This people need praised more for the hard work they do!! 10/10 experience
