My husband developed liver cancer and had to have transplants followed by major operations. The hospital cared for my husband but it was the surgery and its fantastic team of doctors, nurses and receptionists who supported his recovery. whether it was organising district nurses or sorting out prescriptions - they did everything possible to make it easier to care for him at home. I have been in the surgery for all sorts of needs- whether my mother in law's, kids or husband - they work tirelessly to try and get referrals done and chase up any results we need to have. I have never been turned down or turned away - but find that the doctors, nurses and receptionists are willing to spend time to try and help me. We as patients and patient carers have a responsibility to be more proactive in our health needs and this will help support the surgery to support us. I cannot thank the surgery teams enough for all that they do for my family as well as keeping an eye on me and making sure I am healthy as well.
"We have been patients here for over 20 years..."
