"Absolutely super hospital and amazing staff"

From the very first appointment all the way through to the post operative check up and beyond- this hospital has excelled my expectations. I had never had surgery before and was nervous and wary of the recovery, but the consultant surgeon here was kind and friendly and took time to explore the medical problems I had. Just so different from other hospitals- this feels more like a luxury hotel! I had an en-suite bathroom and the room was clean and well cared-for. The nurses were lovely too- they were attentive and sympathetic and offered useful advice.

The anaesthetist was also superb- he came and talked to me at length before the procedure and I woke up feeling completely fine with no nausea. Before the operation here (I had cervical fusion with a bone graft from my hip) I was living with pain worse than I’d ever experienced all through my arms and neck, and it was like the consultant flipped a switch and I woke up without it. I cannot thank the staff enough, even my mother has said she’s going to write to say thank you because she’s been so impressed! Thank you to everyone at this hospital- it feels quite miraculous and you are doing the most incredible work.
