"They were sympathetic to my situation"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I had to visit ward 210 twice over the past week. In between the two visits I was unfortunately told I was having a miscarriage. I was admitted due to extremely heavy bleeding while trying to miscarry naturally at home. The staff were fantastic both doctors, nurses and registrars. They were sympathetic to my situation while also carrying out quick treatment to help me and with dignity. I can’t thank them enough for their help at a really hard time. So thank you, truly.

Dear GMack

I am so sorry to hear that you have had a miscarriage this must be a very difficult and sad time for you.

Thank you for taking the time so share your experience of ward 210. I am delighted that the staff were helpful, sympathetic and treated you with dignity.

I will share your feedback with the staff who will also be pleased to know that they provided good care.

Take care

Frances McGuire
