"referral"

Had several falls and nurse practitioner referred me to the falls clinic. I rang the surgery after few weeks as had heard nothing and was told there is a waiting list. I checked with the hospital and found I hadn’t been referred. I rang the surgery again with a wait of 1 hour 15 minutes and was told they would look into it. After another week I again checked with the hospital and have still not been referred. I rang the surgery again at 18.00and was number 4 in the queue. I finally got to number 1 at 18.50 and was getting concerned so I rang on my mobile at 19.10 to find the surgery was closed. I could have waited all night, what a disgraceful service. I am at my wits end as what to do .
