"Awful phone system and rude receptionist"

About: Willesborough Health Ctr.

Husband was discharged from William Harvey at 4.30 on Friday and told to get staples removed at practice on Mon 12th Aug. Phoned at 8am for nurse appointments and finally got through after 30 mins - ridiculous phone system. Woman I spoke to was rude saying 'it's a bit short notice'. I also asked to speak to GP about symptoms as not much info from hospital. Got an appointment and on arrival my husband used the check-in screen whilst I parked. He said wasn't sure if he'd done it right as 2 appointments on screen but he had spoken to receptionist . He hadn't been called 20 minutes past appointment time and I spoke to her again as he was in pain. She said 'your nurse is running late'. After another 10 mins I checked with her again to be told by same receptionist 'he hasn't checked in'. I said that we had spoken to her 3 times but she obviously hadn't checked. We did then get seen straight away. The nurses comment 'I hate taking staes out' was not great - my husband had about 30 of them. We have always fou d GPS and nurses to be great but this experience was awful.
