"Staff take the time to ensure patients are comfortable"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Ward 7

Feels getting good care, knows his care plan, nothing is any bother for staff, communication good, staff take the time to ensure patients are comfortable and when they have time they chat with patient

When getting blood taken its done very well and experience no pain.

Experienced difficulties with catheter which were resolved immediately

Would prefer a tv room as not able to see TVs in ward

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care you have received whilst an inpatient here in Ward 7 at University Hospital Wishaw.

Your positive comments are very welcome and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff in Ward 7, who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to the needs of our patients. I have no doubt they will be delighted for the feedback.

Thank you also for your comment in relation to how we can improve and we will feed this back to the wider team for discussion.

Thank you once again and best wishes to you

Regards

Faith
