"Rude reception staff"

My family and I have been registered with this practice for about 14 years and have always received good medical care from most of the doctors, especially one GP (absolutely lovely man). The problem is the reception staff! They are extremely rude and condescending. I am a health professional working in a GP practice as well and will be absolutely appalled if my staff treat my patients in such a manner as I have been by these women. As first contact, they are the face of the surgery and need to show more compassion and empathy for patients who, most of the time, are in desperate need for these and more. I would strongly advise that they be retrained in the art of face to face relations with patients. They are ruining the hard work being put in by the clinicians and giving the surgery a bad name!
