The hospital staff at the Harris Birthright centre were amazing... They found a rare abnormality in my pregnancy last year at the 12 week scan.
It was of course very sad, but the hospital were completely on it and very supportive - passing me up to different experts within hours of the initial scan to confirm the last persons findings.
In the end I saw 7 experts to confirm the baby had a rare disease called Pallister Killian - which was not officially confirmed until the blood test were returned 10 days later.
They helped support me with the decision made on how to continue with the pregnancy and sent me to a geneticist after the loss of my pregnancy to find out more about the devastating disease I was unfortunate to have had in my unborn child.
Amazing service from expert staff across the board.
