My little girl has been attending Forest School with Natalie and Holly from Retford Surestart. She's had a great time and come on loads in confidence and developed her motor skills. She really enjoyed making nature crowns and looking for bunnies and worms. Natalie has a really good way with the children and my LG responded really well to her. Thank you SureStart.

The Forest School sessions are fantastic for not only the obvious beneifits such as providing opportunities for physical development, outdoor experiences, better sleep etc. As you mention the fun, varied and nature based activities offer learning through experience and risk taking also assist children's development in so many other areas such as building confidence, self esteem, independence as children feel empowered whilst learning. Your comments seems to sum it up perfectly and it is so good to hear how you and your daughter have gained from these session.
