Went up for reduced fetal movement, kidney pains and lower abdominal pain. No monitoring done on baby after initial triage. Was put in a chair and left for nearly 5 hours before discharging myself. No doctor came to see me, nor did a midwife or any of the staff come to check on me or baby within that 5 hours. I was then told that a doctor wouldn't be on the ward until half past 9 at night, after being told 2 hours prior that a doctor would be there to see me in 20 minutes. After being told it wouldn't be until well after half 9 that I'd be seen, I was then told there were women far worse off than me. Unprofessional and rude, I felt disrespected and felt as though me and my unborn child were not as valuable and had no right to be there. You should really think about employing staff who aren't rude and can treat the patients with respect and not talk to them as if they are something they had stood in. Absolutely appalling.
"Disgusting treatment."
