"Helped to build a good peer relationship"

About: Rampton Hospital / National High Secure Healthcare Service for Women

(as the patient),

I had a really good day. we had visitors from St Andrews Hospital in Northampton.

Sing along, dance and chat and laugh with the Rosewood Staff and involvement Volunteers. Also the Theraputic Involvement workers have put a lot of effort into organizing the day and I loved every minute of it. I never really know why I sang so much on that day. I had a good time. So did everyone else. I sang with other Women who use the service her at Rampton and it helped to build a good peer relationship and was good and really good therapy.

Thank you for this posting, patients, staff and visitors from rosewood, St Andrews and Rethink have also said what a great day they had listening to the women reading poetry to everybody singing along with staff on the karaoke. The dancing was good too.

Thank you to all the staff in DRC that make these events/activities enjoyable

Thank you for your posting. It is truly great to read such a positive posting. I do know the Staff from St Andrews Hospital were very impressed with there visit. Hearing that this is good for Peer relationships is impressive. It does sound like you enjoyed the day and all the singing. I do also know the Volunteers as always enjoyed this. Like you say the Therapeutic Involvement Workers do put lots of effort into such days. I am sure they will enjoy reading your posting. Well done all round and thanks again for your posting.
